Mount Sinai Rocks Look Moved In Exodus 19:18 it says: 'And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.' These rocks look like they went through some quaking, so ripped and torn. It is marvelous to consider that these rocks may have witnessed the Lord's presence.
