This 'MagPro Photo of the Day' shows the Westminster Abbey in London, England. This is where George Frideric Handel had his piece 'Messiah' performed. The King, while listening to the music, was so impressed, I've heard, that he stood up; and thus began the tradition of standing up during the 'Hallelujah Chorus' that is still practiced today around the world. Also a significant force behind the translation of the bBble to English, King James (King James Version), has a very small burial plaque here. There are so many enormous statues here that I suppose space was running low at the time of King James' burial; or perhaps he was very humble. Misop Baynun
